The Intercorstal: About Town

by Faye West
The Intercorstal: About Town wass completed with the aid of four amazing artists, who within a very short time (about a week) turned in images which responded both to the photographs they had been provided (taken on location at Man About Town Barbers in Chelmsford) and also to their interpretation of The Intercorstal. Copies of 'About Town' will be avialable at Man About Town for the duration of the Chelmsford Arts Trail 2011. I can also be contacted via email for anyone internationally who would like a copy.

The Intercorstal: Witches

"And His Angry Ghost"

"Bernard"

"Pleasure Dancing"

"The Blue Peter"

8 pages, created by drawing onto a set of eight commerotaive P&O Cruise postcards.

'Witches' differs from previous instances of The Intercorstal in a number of ways, but most signifcantly in the respect that the pages are not intended to be read together. Rather, they are a series of thematically linked illustrations of characters, concepts and actions taking place in The Intercorstal. Each page has a title which provides context to what is taking place. Initially available at Man About Town in Chelmsford as part of the Chelmsford Arts Trail 2011.
