Intercorstal 2 Page 9 WIP

Here's the current state of Page 9 of the Intercorstal 2.

It's a... bit of a departure. As I was working on Page 8, my son asked if he could help (he's 4). I kindly asked him to leave that page, as I was almost done, but he could do a little to this page, which I'd laid out in pencil (again, after a page from 'Still Life'). He took a pen and scribbled over the whole thing. Not sure why I expected anything different.

But, y'know... it did add a totally new element to the page, which was going to be very constructed, and a lot of hard work. As you can see, I've started working into what he left, and hope if I continue it'll all work out. Check back, if you're interested, I'm sure I'll post up the finished page.

Intercorstal 2 Page 8 scan

Here's the scan of the original work for page 8 of 'The Intercorstal 2'.

It's essentially an abstraction of a page from 'Still Life' (by John Smith and Sean Phillips), although I hope I've done enough to make it my own.

The shapes in the margins are not there for any artistic reason -- my son didn't like there being empty space on the page and so made me fill it in before he'd allow me to continue any further.

Intercorstal 2 Pages 5 and 6 (scans)

The Intercorstal as a project meandered so much I lost track of it. So I've started 'The Intercorstal 2', refocussing on doing traditional inked pages. I've done six so far, although the first four might not make the cut.

Am supremely happy with pages 5 and 6 -- I've posted cleaned-up versions of them to Abstract Comics, but here are the scans of the original pages.

Resyk Pages 1 and 2

Resyk is a new project, using pages I saved from the paper recycle bin at work.

The title might be changed. At the moment all I've done is bite Mega City 1.

As double-page spreads are completed they'll be pasted here. Single pages will be pasted to the Abstract Comics blog.
